i didn't crash!

I had to drop the bike when someone ran through my line on a corner but i stayed standing and just dropped the bike. I rode every drop off. and had one hairy moment on a grass corner where i was pushing too hard but caught it before i stacked it.

I loved racing the series. Helped prep for winter and highlighted what I need to work on. I also won a prize which was either for worst mount/dismount or sweatiest face. Unclear.

So was it on then? A little birdy told me it was cancelled.

I can't see any sign of an apex in that pic - just a bunch of people laughing.

If it's quicker to run, then run. But don't forget your bike ;-)

Trying to finalise dates for noob CX training - looking like early sept.

No Chris, that pic was staged. I was so far out of the race I didn't care.

The dropping of the bike on the apex was out in the woods

It was on and it wasn't even that muddy, the rain held off!

The last two of the Summer Series have been very quick, and not very technical. HH was different, more technical, but probably more fun. I was positioned well on the grid, second line, however the chap failed to clip in who was infront of me, so lost quite a few places as everybody shot off. Probably 20/25 rider on the first lap, but persistance paid off and I reeled alot in. Had a good few battles on the way around. Last lap got pipped in teh sprint by somebody who sat on my wheel for a lap, ah well. Finished 9th Senior.

Shame they're over, really great series!

LP had a great turnout tonight, probably biggest from any club i'd say, lets hope we can keep that up throughout winter. 8)

The purists might moan, but Herne Hill is one of my favourite courses. It's technical but fast if you get it dialled.
