Hearing that Muddy Hell has been cancelled again :-(

...and the race at the Olympic Park is unlikely due to it being a bit cr@p for this sort of thing down there.

Aiee, that's a bit fubar. Muddy hell is perhaps not too surprising but Rapha never clashes with London league, let alone with the club promotion that usually does the Rapha support race. If necessary, any chance of moving GP?

Well, I suspect we're going to have to move it. You can't have London League, Eastern League AND Supercross on the same day. That would be absurd. And yeah, who would do all the leg work for Supercross?

What a mess. I'm unfortunately on my way to the US for a week right now, but definitely one to discuss in the club meeting. I would definitely expect to get push back from the folks at Gunpowder Park if we try to do the event later in the season, when it's wetter. I also worry about volunteer fatigue if we do it too close to the Rapha race and also try to support both again.

An early-season, dry Penshurst could actually tempt me back. Otherwise I'd have to put it up on my excel calendar to see it.

Porc was my favorite last year- super atmospheric winter afternoon, with views across whatever that bit of kent is called.

What happened to the summer series- did that disappear?

Edwin, agree with you on Penshurst. It was a beautiful race last year.

The silence concerning the summer series is deafening. Nobody knows if it's happening or not.

Unlike last year Cross bikes are very welcome at Beastway so if the Sumer Series flounders then there is an alternative.

Do we have a revised calender now we've moved Gunpowder back to September?

Got an email from the League Chairman yesterday saying the calendar had been submitted to BC but there was no calendar attached.

So i suggest working on the basis that it's as per the list above except:

Sun 21 Sept - Gunpowder Park
Sun 26 Oct - no race
Sun 21 Dec - Redbridge Cycling Centre

Are there still plans to do online entry this year, or is that on the back burner now?

New website :D

http://www.londonxleague.co.uk/

Which is largely illegible tho I'm sure they'll fix it

Last I heard online entry was still under discussion. Its not mentioned on the new site though i may have missed it.

Reasonably legible on ipad but navigation leaves a bit to be desired. If I were cyclelab and I'd paid to have my name all over the site, I'd probably expect the logo/text to direct the user to my site rather than show show the logo a bit bigger.
