End of season CX social
As we are now fast approaching the end of the CX season, it's time to reflect...
First of all, massive congrats to Neils for winning the Central League! (subject to official confirmation). It's been a great season with lots of new faces along with the old stalwarts, the roll call of which is (and I'm bound to have missed somebody):
Astrid, Jane, Michelle F, Bella, Neil, Bruce, Damian, Stuart, Steven, Pat, James S, Max, Dan, Andrew, Kev, Chris B, Edwin, Jason, Will, Simon G, Ben, John J, Len, me.
A mega impressive 24 riders. Also big thanks to all those who've helped out at Gunpowder Park, Supercross and Hog Hill. Goes without saying that these events couldn't happen without you (but I'll say it anyway).
Season finishes 1st Feb with the World Champs (and the team champs), then it's all over. So without further ado we can move towards getting fat and taking it easy; please join us on 5th Feb at the Dovetail http://dovepubs.com/aboutdovetail/ to ruminate over a few of Belgium's finest beers.

Re: End of season CX social
Well I only finished 4 races (podium every time tho ) and thereafter had the most lacklustre laissez-faire season ever as real life took over, so I will attempt to make amends by celebrating so many other successes and debutant rides on this occasion. Can't wait

Re: End of season CX social
I'm delighted to have been one of this number this year. Getting off-road on a bike for the first time has helped keep riding fun and interesting for me over winter and I've loved the relaxed friendliness of cx races. At my first race, other riders cheered me on, including one of my competitors!
Road racing is about to begin again and the final bramble has also just surfaced out of my knee so for me the cx season is over. I'll be racing on the evening of the social so won't be able to join you but thanks all for your advice, warm welcoming and cheers at races. See you next winter!

Bit of a bump for this one.
It's this Thursday people - while I'm certainly not above drinking on my own it'd be nice to have company so thought I'd add a reminder.
I'm aiming to be there probably about 6:30.
See you there.

Ahh can't make this, work do.
Thanks for your support and advise this season. Planning on really getting stuck into 2015/16 season, and do more than two races...

Aye, sort it out, lad. Expecting you to smash it next season. Also hoping to see you get yer ass to some Trophy races. Think of Crystal Palace as "pre-season training"WillBeresford wrote: Thanks for your support and advise this season. Planning on really getting stuck into 2015/16 season, and do more than two races...
