LL results are up and they've managed to get my results completely wrong. As is way too often the case. I've emailed them. I will have my day soon!

Well done, guys. 2nd place, Pat! Nice one!

I see Dan Tullet won the Senior race. Impressive stuff.

Amended results for Stanmer pk now have me 7th rather than 87th which feels a bit better! Efforts acknowledged by the LL eventually.. Maybe I'll do another round. That tangled chain cost me a minute and three places.

Nice one. In fairness to Bill, there aren't many leagues that get it right first time. Having it nailed by Weds isn't bad.

Yeh, I do recognize the difficulty in getting it right. I'd probably make a bigger mess. Just a bit hard to take when you're fired up in race mode awaiting some kind of slight acknowledgement. Must remember it's the fun of it all that counts most! Shall I do results at Hog Hill on the Saturday? Or try to help?

Well there goes my 14th place, demoted to 19th!

I'll have to do a better job adjusting my rear mech limit screws. And pedal harder, I guess...

I'll try the Eastern League on Sunday. Last time I raced Eastern (Welwyn Garden City) I came ninth from the last row at the start. I don't think I am in that sort of shape this year!

London League Round 3, to be held this Sunday in Croydon, now postponed, most likely to November 15.

Croydon Council double-booked the event with a circus. You couldn't make it up!

Looks like my CX debut for this season deferred til later still....

First winter series CX for me tomorrow at Herne Hill now RR is done.

Reckon I'll get entry on the line?

Yeah, always loads of space in Senior races. Be aware you'll need to pay a tenner to join the London League and get a timing chip. I won't begin to try and explain how that works although Chris, Stuart or others might like to have a go. Good luck. Smash it!

Cheers Steven. Hoping the "improvements" i've made to the bike will help.

It's gonna be warm and dry. You'll fly. Just hopefully not literally. That's Mr Newman's domain.
