Right, I'm in for Ipswich. Could be carnage. Who else?

Course looks great - I will always remember trinity park fondly from last season's mudfest and the picture of me where you can't tell if I'm wearing shorts or longs.

Yeah, I like it there. Trophy is always an experience so it'll be fun.

It's Saturday night and we are in a premier inn in darkest suffolk , well Ipswich Quayside ( ex docks ) which is relativeky height of cosmopolitanism

I'd have to admit I was quite shocked by Ipswich Quayside when we stayed over between races last year. It was pretty nice. And the yachts were massive!

See you tomorrow!

Windy but great grassy course with some more technical mounds and some really great steps at Ipswich , classic cross course as befits the Trophy .

Had bit of a slow start and was struggling slightly on first lap but got better as race went on and was still catching people on last lap . Don't know where I came but felt better than Southampton though well off top 20 . Feeling absolutely smashed now though after the delights of bike cleaning etc

Well done to the other LP riders we had a good turn out in the vets races and we're basically the whole London contingent in a very Northern bunch .

Well done Pat. You, me, Bruce were 22 & 25 & 28.
Frankly odd of London League to promote against a neighbouring regions Trophy.

Tim Gould did 400 miles** and two races last week and smashed it today. We need to step up. !!

** not 400 spring Majorca miles. 400 November Derbyshire miles.

400 miles? In November? That's frickin' ridiculous. Pat and I have had the conversation before about various V50s almost being pro and he's proved it. Is he still a postman? Anyway, as you lot probably didn't see him, I can confirm he flew past me at a particularly rapid rate on knots. Damian said the same.

I really enjoyed today. It was great to be back at the races after various mishaps in previous weeks. I felt a bit rusty but overall it was an okay ride, I guess. I'll tell everyone I was 11th V45 but in the real world it said I was 39th.

Tim Gould is indeed impressive! He passed me on the last lap - I jumped on his wheel for a bit of tough work but lapsed on a corner as he got away. Good racing today! Pleased to have found I came 20th after riding alone for pretty much all of my race after a slightly faltered start from a back row. Wasn't expecting much today but feeling quite motivated now - the pint dodging might have to continue! Not tonight however. Well done everyone! :D

Tim Gould and Chris Young are a different league but have to remember that if they had been born twenty years later would be riding on the road for Sky and earning a fortune .

Would have been pleased with 22 at the start but was very close to 21st and should probably have made top 20 great ride by Dave C for 14th

Well done Damien

Well done Steve after a lay off and a nasty crash that's a more than respectable ride on a physically demanding course
