Sounds good to me. Will PM - you coming to Wednesday's Cross training?Chris Clague wrote:*cough* - I could probably flog you some clement pdx's if you're interested? Amazing mud tyres that turned my cynical head when used in the quagmires of late season. Have moved to tubs now with mud-specific rotors cos I took it all too seriously...

Re: Central CX League - 2015/16
I used Clement PDX's yesterday (clincher type) and i've got to say they were very good.
Another question: How does gridding work? They got it wrong this week, started called out riders in number order, realised that was wrong, so did overall league position (which I how I thought gridding was done?)
I just wanted to be gridded

You should find yourself gridded in your next central league race! Unlike myself who'll be out for the hole shots onto Steven's gridded tail as promptly as possible at Icknield I think it's probably no bad thing to be ungridded sometimes, as long as there's a way through.

Think the theory is they run hotter and don't drag the crap into your pads unlike lightweight ones that provably do.

I know. Why have something simple when you can have it complicated?Chris Clague wrote:Oh dear

Speaking of mud specific, I was very happy with my switch from shimano to Time pedals. No issues at all with clogged cleats/pedals. All issues on the rider side of the equation!

Re: Central CX League - 2015/16
Finally catching up with reporting...
Last weekend. Central. I got up to 3rd, but 4th was a fair result so no complaint there. I would complain to whoever thought it clever to label the toilets 'hens' and 'roosters' ON A FARM. I thought it meant this way to the chickens and lost 30 mins of precious warm up time.
The weekend before. Superprestige @ Zonhoven. Hasselt was very pleasant, the ferry was proper, the Pit was everything you might hope for and more. The last lap was amazing, Lars fell off in front of us, Sven rode out of the pit (no-one else was doing this) to bridge across to Peters, and the roar of the crowd at that moment was actually rather moving. I hope the svenness folk get hold of the footage.
Next weekend. No cross as my MTB season finally comes to an end.
The weekend after that. A Central/Eastern double header.

I did have a similar problem and walked past before asking for help. 'Follow the signs for the Roosters, mate'. Really?? Fortunately I was there quite early so the wasted minutes didn't really matter.Neil wrote:Finally catching up with reporting...

Re: Central CX League - 2015/16
Rankings after round 6 have come out, however i'm not on the list? We're an affliacted club, so I can't see why I wouldn't get the (I think) 100 points from round 6? I have also emailed CXL for clarification.

Yep, we're affiliated so I can't see a reason why you wouldn't be listed. No idea on points, I'm afraid. Not sure I've ever seen the rankings page, tbh.

Re: Central CX League - 2015/16
I'm 63rd in the league - go me! Does that mean I'll get gridded higher than 80th or wherever I started in MK?
