Does anybody (from LP) really do this league? What with the London league and Eastern league these all seem quite a long way away, apart from Hillingdon?

Might end up doing a few though.

Welwyn at the start of Jan is also both good and (relatively) local

As Stuart says, Neil did a few 8)

From memory, last season we went to MK, Hillingdon and then Welwyn (I think you did Hillingdon, Will?). I'd happily go further afield but they've invariably clashed with Eastern races. I could potentially go to any of those listed although I know, off the top of my head, that there are a few clashes. Not least, the Hitchin race, where we'll have to drive past to get to the EL race at Grafham :?

*Might* drink beer at the Koppenberg that day though...

Central League Rnd 1. The title defence starts here. ho hum...

Phil 'the world champion' Roach, Mick 'the legend' Bell and Simon 'the beast' Hime beat me to the first corner, a lap later Dave 'the sexy boy' Copland eased past and that was it, I defended fifth, which was probably second counter on points, so a better start than I had expected.

Halton was voted best Central course last year and I can see why, a real crowd pleaser.

The highlight of the day though was seeing Gary 'the linchpin' Lingard, the best off road rider ever to wear a Phoenix shirt, pin a number on for the first time in five years. 8)
