Hi all,

We are putting on round 2 of the London and SE Cyclocross League on Sunday 16 September 2018. The race will take place in Crystal Palace Park. This is likely to be a popular venue and with our race being at the start of the season this will be a big event.

We will need lots of marshals for this and please put this date in your calendar. The park is a public space, so we have to set up the course early on Sunday morning and then need marshals for various tasks (sign-on, manning crossing points, keep an eye on the course, etc.).

Caroline has made a spreadsheet, please put yourselves down for something:

It's my birthday so I will aim to be there and help out.

Great going for putting on an inaugural CX at CP, quite the coup - to celebrate this achievement I've written some really bad puns:

- I can imagine the barriers you had to overcome were a lot higher than 40 cms

- I suppose it was tough to get traction at times

- I'm sure it was bumpy going to get approval

- LP is under pressure to make it a success

- Sometimes organising races is the pits

I’ll be there. Can do whatever is needed - would be nice to see the course rather than the car park if poss. I’ve not put myself down to comm as I understand these things are frowned upon.

Yes I’ve got them stashed at my flat in Golders Green.

I may be away that weekend or the one before. Not confirmed dates yet.

I've put myself down as first aider and doing this entry to keep the thread bumped up, still some positions vacant.

Apologies - Our round is now the same w/end as the MTB Marathon World Champs and I have to be in the Dolomites.
