Now you mention it, quite tempted. But not solo.

Anyone fancy pairs or better still a 3 man team?

Note your link goes straight to a pic of me, Matt Webber and Gary the Linchpin on the podium a few years back 8)

Ha Ha I never noticed that...or obviously I wouldn't have done it  I see they edged you out of camera shot! Typical Lingard

I was gonna do solo but see who's interested.

Everyone looks very happy. Nothing to do with the free beer at the end I'm sure.

Lets do a team Simon - much more fun than slogging out a solo effort

I could be persuaded :D see who's up for it. Know anyone with a mountain bike? I know... Rob! Not sure he's fit enough though...

Hey Stuart,

any idea what the limit on numbers is for Big Dog - there's 399 entered already. I'm might just get a solo entry in before it fills up again. Niall said he's up for doing it team but hasn't posted yet

I would be up for it... Not 100% sure though as may have holidays then but would enter and sort it out after... would probably do solo though to be honest if i am going to go all the way to brighton...

I'm happy to do pairs or a team, tho I don't know what the numbers limit is. Way more fun than solo in my view.

Well went down, nice event, tough course. Did 6 hr solo came 9th. Strava says 2500m climbing which was basically just going up and down different parts of the same hill for 6hrs. Ant White won it and he's National 24 hr champion so there were some quick boys there and happy to be on a leaderboard with him as he's a God. The rider briefing described some areas of the course as " dangerous" which I've never seen before and was a bit off putting but tbh I could see their point as the descents over some fairly lethal wet roots had me looking forward to the climbing as light relief but it dried out and got quicker after a couple of pretty sketchy hours. I did have an almost slick rear tyre on though as it was the only one that would go up tubeless on my wheel. Recommend it next year though - they had free beer at the finish :D
