I sent an email for confirmation last night as it happens. Last agreement was that we can have two riders in the sponsored Kenda Team. LP's have to wearing Kenda sponsored tops but I negotiated LP shorts into the deal on the basis of "personal comfort". :)

Should it be confirmed the deal is:

Two named riders from LP able to ride in the pro Kenda "b" 24hr Team, not the Elites.
Free entry to MM as thier guests.
Barbeque/Dinner with Gary Fisher (tbc) on the Friday Night
Freebies from Kenda / Moore Large for the effort, including weekend camp, mechanics, food, energy bits and bobs and probably some tyres and whatever they throw at you.
Photo's with the team / Gary for our promotional use.

As soon as I receive confirmation I'll post here. BTW, I won't be able to attend as it falls on my wife's birthday so both spaces are available.

*is not amused*

So the long and the short of the reply is, that they are entering 3 teams. Elite, Sport and "Office". There are no spare places in Elite naturally and spare places in the other two are first being offered to Moore Large employees (Kenda's hosts).

So they won't guarantee us entry as originally promised, but we can have riders on "standby" for the Sport & Office teams alledgedly "always" have spare spaces. But its a gamble.

I have replied and diplomatically pointed out that the standard of riders we are offering into a Kenda shirt is "Sport" at minimum and the results posted on Kenda's behalf would not be insignificant, in an effort to persuade them to include LP's rather than Jim the photocopier guy into the Sport team. No pressure.

I'll keep you posted, but I'd suggest if you want to ride 'Mayhem sort your own entry so you don't miss out, and treat potential entries into Team Kenda Sport as an optional bonus.

Cheers Stan keep us posted. Can always enter and get a refund if Kenda comes off - but bit problematic as if we enter a team and a couple can then go with Kenda it leaves the team two short. Any way they'll know before March 1st?

So it's the 1st of march tomorrow...

Unlike the bonty, I am available for this.

Not sure i'm keen to do it solo but am definitely keen for a team/pair if anyone else is.

It's a real shame didn't realise it's the week after Bristol. I can't do both and want to do 12 solo. I wish they'd coordinate a bit and spread the events slightly. Even two weeks was ok in the past. I've done 12 solo then team 24 but you need a couple of weeks.

Having said that if Stan comes up with a free Kenda team spot I'll do it. Stan?

I'm afraid its still as above, could be as little as two weeks prior to the event I find out.
